Terms of Use

Last updated: 7 August 2026

Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of morethanprofit.net, operated by More Than Profit Ltd, a company registered in Scotland, company number SC877077 (“we”, “us”). By using this website you accept them.

These terms cover the website only. Consultancy work is governed by the separate written agreement we sign with each client organisation. If the two ever conflict, that agreement takes precedence for the work it covers.

Using this site

You may read, print and share the content of this site for your own information and for non-commercial purposes within your organisation, provided you keep any attribution intact. You may not:

  • reproduce our content commercially or present it as your own
  • use our frameworks, questions or scoring approaches to build a competing assessment
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this site or the systems behind it
  • use the site in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage or impair it

Our intellectual property

The MTPCompass™ framework — including its dimensions, components, key performance indicators, scoring methodology, capability levers and reporting formats — is our intellectual property. So is the content of this website, our brand, our logo and our written materials.

“More Than Profit” and “MTPCompass” are trade marks of More Than Profit Ltd.

Nothing on this site grants you any licence to use our intellectual property beyond reading and sharing the content as described above.

The information on this site

We write carefully and in good faith, but the content of this website is general information, not advice. It is not a substitute for a proper assessment of your organisation, nor for professional advice on your particular circumstances. Every organisation is different, and you should not act on general content alone.

We do not warrant that the site will always be available or free from errors.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website — including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss of data.

Links to other sites

Where we link to other websites, we do so because we think they may be useful. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
